How does Steri compare to other disinfectants?

Using Steri-7 cuts both time and materials from the cleaning operation because it cleans, disinfects and leaves behind a protective barrier that kills pathogens arriving post-cleaning.

Standard cleaning protocol usually consists of the following stages:

  1. Clean the surface with detergent
  2. Rinse off detergent
  3. Sluice with bleach
  4. Rinse off bleach
  5. Wipe the surface dry

The surface has been cleaned and disinfected but the process of re-contamination can begin immediately – airborne pathogens arrive, people touch the surface or sneeze in the vicinity. There is nothing to curtail the steady accumulation of pathogens nor their transfer to others.

The Steri cleaning protocol consists of:

  1. Wipe the surface clean with Steri-7 and allow to dry.
  2. That’s it!

Not only have we used fewer materials and far less water, the operation is carried out in a single stage. And the protective barrier left behind, called ‘RBT‘, kills pathogens as soon as they arrive for up to 3 days after the cleaning process is finished.
